Dad Doesn’t Look Like Dad!

Those who want to see Sonam Kapoor with her dad Anil Kapoor will have to wait for a long time. They are just not inclined to work together. The buzz around tinsel town is that there’s a pivotal role in Anil Kapoor’s home production of his own daughter’s father that he was supposed to play. But Anil, is not doing it. Explains proud daughter Sonam, “Do you really think he looks like my Dad? No! He doesn’t. He looks far younger than his age. And that’s why I wouldn’t want him to play my father. And that’s how it remains even now," laughs the actress just back from Sri Lanka after a photo-shoot for a magazine, “I really feel we wouldn’t look like father and daughter on screen. We’d rather wait for a while until I'm older. Because my father isn’t going to oblige (by looking older).”

Just A Rumour?

The report of Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan split due to the Barbara Hrithik link up has amazed the actor as there’s no truth to the story. Reacting to the news, he laughs, “It is too funny! Yes Sussanne shifted out with the kids two days ago and I was to join her on my return as there is a white ant treatment going on in my house and asection of my floor is being renovated. I am here right now with my kids and my in laws.” According to a close friend of Hrithik, he was in South Africa for the shoot of a commercial when Sussanne shifted to her parent’s place in Juhu.

Alluring

Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai has been a Bollywood star for more than a decade, and now the rest of the world is waking up to her charms. The stunning 35-year-old model turned actress was crowned Miss World in 1994 and has a string of films to her name, including Devdas and roles in hits such as Bride and Prejudice and The Last Legion. In 2007 she hit the headlines when she married Bollywood actor and frequent co-star Abhishek Bachchan, son of Indian megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Aishwarya is making headlines these days as she is appearing on the big screen in the Middle East in her latest role in The Pink Panther 2 opposite Hollywood heavyweights Steve Martin, Jean Reno, Andy Gracia and Emily Mortimer. Talking about her role in the Pink Panther 2 she said, “Well, being bad has never been so good.” “My first reaction, after coming to know that I would be in the film, was a smile because that’s the feeling the film evokes. What happened with Pink Panther is I got married that year in the middle of making movies. I was committed to two so I had to keep a couple of months off towards the end of the year so I squeezed in Pink Panther. My husband was like ‘you have to do this. It’s easy, it’s a no-brainer’. It’s not an intense acting piece, it’s like a holiday, it’s not exhausting at all and we’ve all grown up on it. You know your nieces and nephews are going to laugh and have a good time watching it and tomorrow, my kids will too.”“It was just a laugh and I was happy to be part of it. There was a great cast who all have serious careers and yet here they are being silly and having fun but it was tough running in stilettos. I wouldn’t recommend it.” “I enjoy action. I did a lot of action in The Last Legion. Then I did two movies in India which had a lot of action as well.”
